Hospitality Rider
MERCHANDISE
Buyer shall provide to Artist one well-lit, secure space with a table, and display wall or tall board to display and sell merchandise. This space (hereinafter referred to as MERCHANDISE AREA) shall be positioned in an area easily visible to the public using the main entrance. The Merchandise Area shall be provided to Artist at no additional cost.
Buyer agrees to prohibit the sale of any souvenir or similar merchandise on the premises in connection with the Artist, or the name “GARAJ MAHAL” either individually, or related to the performance its self other than the Artist’s official merchandise furnished by Artist or Artist’s merchandising representative.
Unless otherwise noted in the Performance Agreement, Artist shall sell and retain all merchandise receipts.
BILLING
Unless otherwise stipulated in the Performance Agreement, Artist shall receive one hundred percent (100%) sole, exclusive, headline billing.
When appearing in any public format, Artist shall be billed as:

The name “GARAJ MAHAL” and/or the names of the members of Garaj Mahal shall not be used or associated directly or indirectly with any product or service without express prior written consent by Artist.
Only authorized photos including all four members of the band will be allowed for publicity, etc…
PARKING
Buyer shall provide to Artist one well-lit, secure parking space for one 36 ft wide x 11 ft high Tour bus. Parking space shall remain unobstructed from a period of time beginning 30 minutes before load-in and ending after load-out has ended. Parking shall be provided to Artist at no additional cost. Parking space shall have ample maneuvering space.
LOADERS
Buyer shall provide 2 (two) loaders within 15 minutes upon band’s arrival and departure to assist with load in as well as load out.
DRESSING ROOM
A well-lit (non-florescent), private, secure, lockable dressing room (not shared with other individuals or acts) shall be provided to Artist by Buyer. Dressing room(s) shall include chairs, tables, heating/air conditioning units, mirrors, and a private bathroom.
HOTELS
5 (five) single rooms will be provided on the night of the show and will be reserved in advance. Hotel information must be available to Garaj Mahal’s road manager when the show is advanced. Do not wait until the day of the show to reserve the rooms, please!!!
HOSPITALITY
Unless stipulated otherwise in the Performance Agreement, a hot, well-balanced meal for six (6) persons shall be
provided immediately following sound check. A meal buyout of $100.00 USD (One Hundred US Dollars) is also allowable. Catering budgets and receipts related to meals and/or meal buyouts shall be made available to, or discussed with road manager.
Additional Refreshments – The following list of refreshments shall be provided before the arrival of the Artist to the engagement and placed in Dressing Room:
Hot coffee with milk & sugar shall be made available at all times.
2 cases (24 per each) of non-carbonated water (500 milliliter-size bottles or larger).
8 freshly laundered towels (to be returned to Buyer after the show by Artist).
2 bottles of Red Wine: Zinfandel, Merlot, or Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Syrah Don’t forget the corkscrew!
I bottle Irish/Scotch Whiskey, Jameson or similar
6-pack of a quality beer, i.e. Pilsner Urquell, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, etc.
6 plastic bottles of Coca-Cola.
6 bottles of fresh juice.
Assorted Quality (sliced) cheeses (no processed cheeses) w/quality healthy crackers and thinly sliced prosciutto
1 pint of freshly prepared Mediterranean-style Humus.
1 bags of fresh pita bread.
1 fresh veggie platter with dip.
1 bowl of fresh fruit (i.e. bananas, apples, oranges, nectarines, peaches, etc.).
1 roll of paper towels.
1 bucket of Ice.
COMPLIMENTARY TICKETS
Buyer shall provide to Artist at least ten (10) complimentary tickets. Agent requests at least two (2) comp tickets. Buyer and/or House is allowed no more than ten (10) complimentary tickets unless given prior approval by artist management or artist.
SECURITY
Buyer shall provide proper security at all times to ensure the safety of the Artist, Artist’s crew, Artist’s equipment, and additional property from the beginning of load-in to the completion of load-out. Buyer will be held financially responsible for any loss due to lack of proper security.
AUDIO / VIDEO RECORDING POLICY
Recording with audience mics is allowed.
Recording with stage mics is allowed only with prior written consent of Artist road manager.
Soundboard patches or Soundboard/Audience matrix recordings are allowed with prior consent of Artist or Artist road manager.
Still photography is permitted with consent of Artist or Artist road manager.
Video recording of the engagement SHALL NOT BE PERMITTED.
Audio/Video broadcasting of the engagement SHALL NOT BE PERMITTED.
